Nvidia is facing fresh questions about its next GeForce GPU plans, as a wider memory shortage keeps pressure on gaming graphics card supply and pricing.
Recent reporting says a shortage of key memory parts is forcing hard choices across the PC hardware world, and Nvidia may be putting more focus on higher profit AI hardware instead of a mid cycle gaming upgrade.
The same supply crunch is also fueling rumors that the expected RTX 50 Super refresh could be delayed or even canceled in some form, because the same type of memory is being pulled into AI demand.
Partners are also signaling that memory limits can affect which GPU models get built first. A recent Tom’s Hardware report highlights how firms may prioritize models that earn more money per gigabyte of memory, while less efficient options get pushed back.
Nvidia has publicly said demand for GeForce RTX is strong, and memory supply is constrained, adding that it is working with suppliers to increase availability.
